Welcome

Welcome!

If you were expecting a different page, check out the Hosted Sites section to see if you can find what you were looking for.

Explanation of this page

This page was released on a web server that hosts multiple websites, and is designed to help visitors find another site which is probably what was desired if this page is unintentionally seen. If you are seeing this page on its home web server, it is likely (or certain) that the web server did not receive a recognized domain name being sought, usually caused by the web browser client software (your web browser) having visited this site by asking the web server for the page located at the IP (Internet Protocol) address, and did so without providing the domain name of the website to the web server. (This could also happen if the web browsing client simply sends a domain name that this web server hasn't been configured to recognize.)

Due to the limited number of numeric IPv4 IP addresses available to this server machine, the websites on this machine are set up with name-based hosting instead of relying numeric-based address-matching.

Browser Support

The domain-name hosting works well with most modern browsers:
"Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0, Netscape Navigator 2.0, and later versions of both browsers support the use of host header names; earlier versions of the two browsers do not."

--Microsoft (Initially found from A now-defunct Microsoft URL with a ® sign right after the word Microsoft, the page now redirects to another page, but the current quote is online at the URL of another Microsoft web page about Supporting Host Header Names.)

Wikipedia Article on Netscape Navigator lists release dates of Mosaic Netscape 0.9 on October 13, 1994, and Netscape Navigator 2.0 on September 18, 1995.

"Microsoft originally released Internet Explorer 1.0 in August 1995 with the Internet Jumpstart Kit in Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95." "Version 2.0 was also released for the Macintosh and Windows 3.1 in April 1996." "Internet Explorer 3.0 was released free of charge in August 1996 by bundling it with Windows 95 OSR2."
--Wikipedia Article on IE

As can be seen from the linked to information above, this issue affects the paid-for versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer released during the first year that Microsoft Internet Explorer was released, or versions of Netscape's Navigator released in the first 11 months. It also shows that the major popular browsers released over a decade ago tend to support the required HOST header of HTTP. (Newer web browser software, like Mozilla Firefox, also tend to support the HTTP's HOST header by the first publicly released "release version" with a version number of at least 1.0.)

Hosted Sites

(Note: The links in this list, to sections on this site, are subject to change at any time. Bookmarking them is not recommended.)

Note: The addressed linked to on this page might be subject to change. It is generally recommended that hyperlinks to the following sites use the standard domain names, as those work well with most web browser client software, and also allows flexibility for the actual host location to change (to a different location on this web server, or perhaps to a different web server). And now: the List of sites:

PaniniSandwiches.com (http://WWW.PaniniSandwiches.Com)
There was an idea to use this domain name for a business that was being planned. However, the business is no longer being pursued: The webmaster of the site determined that the structure of the business (roles of the people involved in the business) would not work out as expected. Seeing, however, that other good names for PaniniSandwiches were unavailable, this domain is currently remaining parked by its webmaster. (If anyone has interest in using this domain, pelase contact the webmaster.)
